Legal Bootcamp For Supervisors
Course Description
All too often, employees with great technical skills become supervisors or managers before they’ve learned how to effectively and legally communicate, motivate, and hold employees accountable. To develop these skills, the following 90-minute classes are available as an online series:
- Intro to the Supervisor’s Role & Responsibilities
- Documentation for Supervisors
- Supervisor’s Toolkit for Managing Mental Illness at Work
- Preventing Discrimination & Bias
These classes are designed to help new and potential supervisors understand why their actions (and inaction) carry more weight, create liability, and impact company culture, and give them baseline tools to be successful in their new role. Because this interactive series is online only, your supervisors will need individual access to a computer and video camera. It is taught by a Vigilant Law Group employment attorney using the Zoom platform.
