From the CEO desk: creating a culture of safety

Washington Manufacturer:
I am personally persuaded that there is no greater purpose in life than to love and serve others well. This is the reason why I find so much gratification leading our Vigilant team in our mission to help employers promote safe, fulfilling, legally compliant, and productive work environments, improving the lives of their employees and the communities in which they live.

Our core value, “others before self,” permeates everything we do at Vigilant. We exist as an organization to be employer advocates in our substance, expertise, impact, and decision-making. In other words, we are not in this primarily for ourselves, but rather to produce demonstrable impact and value for the employers we serve.

The depth of this conviction is what drives us to help Washington companies understand and gain control of their workers’ compensation costs. This is not primarily about a retro group; it’s about creating a sustainable culture of workplace safety and lowering workers’ compensation costs (inclusive of retro refunds) for the long haul.

As a CEO I admit that this is easier to describe than accomplish. That is why Vigilant has invested heavily in the capability to help your company successfully navigate a bureaucratic, complex, costly, and underserved workers’ compensation system.

At Vigilant, our team provides holistic workers’ comp advocacy including claims, safety, legal, and overall strategy creation. We work hard to drive down your workers’ comp costs and prioritize keeping your employees safe and working. Let’s talk about how we can work together.
