Principles of Hazard Identification
Course Description
One of the key elements of a safety management system is effectively identifying and controlling workplace hazards. A common cause of workplace injuries is the failure to identify and/or recognize hazards that are present. A thorough routine inspection by trained personnel is a proactive way of accomplishing a safer work environment. Once identified, employers should promptly prioritize and address the hazards by implementing effective control measures. This course will teach participants how to identify hazards that cause injuries, illnesses, or unnecessary OSHA citations and penalties. This training is also customizable to each company by using digital photos of your own workplace.
