The California Labor & Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) has launched a new portal to serve as a “one-stop hub for California employers to quickly find up-to-date state and local county COVID-19 guidance by industry.” The new site uses guidance already available from state and local sources, including information about benefits, paid sick leave, immediate steps to take following a COVID-19 (coronavirus) case in the workplace, and how to re-open safely.
Select your industry and county from a drop down menu and then answer a few questions about your current COVID-19 practices to generate a customized road map with information and links to help you operate and/or reopen in a safe and compliant manner. No business names or other personal information is collected and you will see a disclaimer that the “information in this portal will not be used for the purpose of enforcement.” The portal will be updated with state and local guidance on an ongoing basis.
