EXPERIENCE
Shellie has worked in accounting and employee benefits, including administration of a multi-employer defined benefit retirement plan. This diverse background makes her a perfect fit for her role as Pulp & Paper Manager. Working with Vigilant’s pulp and paper members is far from run-of-the-mill; it’s more like run-of-the-200-mills! That’s approximately how many paper mills Shellie works with through the Employee Relations Program, which is a program that Vigilant manages under a contract with the American Forest and Paper Association. Shellie analyzes and interprets shared industry data, maintains a proprietary database for members, conducts requested surveys, develops custom reports, produces a monthly newsletter, and arranges annual meetings. These activities provide timely and current industry information for the AF&PA Employee Relations Program.
Outside of work, Shellie loves camping and fishing, but most importantly spending time with her family – and don’t forget about their two dogs!
