Experience

As Claims Supervisor for our Workers’ Comp Retro Program, Sandi has saved Vigilant members millions of dollars in claim costs. We sometimes refer to her as “Dr.” Sandi because of her extensive knowledge of Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) awards and AMA Medical Guides. She runs the numbers and certifies the accuracy of every PPD award, making sure our members pay only what they owe.

Sandi is strategic, creative and committed when it comes to finding ways to contain claim costs. She takes full advantage of programs like kept on salary, occupational disease and preferred worker. Sandi is also well versed in workers’ comp laws, L&I policies and medical aid rules. Simply said – Sandi enjoys mastering the fine print to help our members save time and money.  

While she’s pleased with her workplace successes, Sandi really enjoys being at home working in her yard, being with family and friends, and her yearly hunting and camping trip.
