Managing Change: Putting TRP to work
Course Description
Success belongs to those who can remain positive, productive and effective in the face of constant change. This thought-provoking and highly interactive program leverages the TRP (Totally Responsible Person) concepts to focus on remaining effective in the face of change and/or adversity.
The course is designed to help participants examine on-the-job challenges. Through self-reflection and group discussion, those challenges become an opportunity for learning and growth. Participants get clear about exactly what they need to accomplish, and how they will do so.
The course leverages two new models. The first is a metaphor that allows participants to identify what they do well in times of change or challenge as well as what they do that is not productive or effective. The second model is called the “Circle of Collaboration™” which is a team-tool to help participants focus on and value the strengths of others, rather than reacting
to our apparent differences.
(6 hours)
“Each problem has hidden in it an opportunity so powerful that it literally dwarfs the problem. The greatest success stories were created by people who recognized a problem and turned it into an opportunity.” Joseph Sugarman
While encouraged, TRP is not a required pre-requisite for this course.
