Sonia Reynolds’ job as the HR/Labor Relations Business Partner for Vigilant’s pulp and paper members is far from run-of-the-mill. It’s more like run-of-the-200-mills. That’s approximately how many paper mills Sonia works with through the Employee Relations Program, which is a program that Vigilant manages under a contract with the American Forest and Paper Association. Sonia manages databases, produces member-requested surveys and reports, edits a monthly newsletter and arranges annual meetings.
She was born and raised in Portland, OR, smack dab in the middle of tree country. She’s had over a decade of human resources and labor relations related experience. She loves the culture at Vigilant and enjoys serving and engaging with both members and employees. Her experience has fueled a continuous drive to identify areas where she can add meaningful value to members and their employees and help them make positive impacts on their bottom lines by doing the right things.
