Experience

With Vigilant since 1972, Rodger has served our members in various capacities, including as president from 1988 through 2014.

Rodger's leadership at Vigilant is marked by his commitment to serving others and the daily example he models of servant leadership. While his professional accomplishments are many, including chairing benefits trusts with over $250 million in annual contributions and over $1 billion in assets, Rodger's legacy will be his unwavering dedication to serving the needs of the members and employees of Vigilant. After entrusting the future to the next generation of leaders, Rodger now leverages his nearly half-century experience with the organization to advise the Board, President and Executive Team, and lead one of Vigilant’s three primary business units, group employee benefits.
