Experience

As claims manager for Vigilant’s workers’ comp Retro group, Cameron Ballou advocates for members and confidently steers claims from the start of the process to the finish. He knows how to handle any sharp turns and bumps along the way, like he sometimes does in his off-hours as an amateur drift car driver, a motorsport in which the driver of a modified car purposely oversteers while taking corners to keep control.

Cameron’s work for Vigilant also includes evaluating workers compensation claims, making recommendations regarding benefit eligibility, as well as Identifying and addressing opportunities to reduce workers compensation claims costs.

A native of Palo Alto, CA, Cameron moved with his family to Shelton, WA, when he was 11. In addition to drift car driving, in his spare time Cameron enjoys skateboarding, drawing and painting, and spending time with friends and family enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
