Rebecca primarily handles administrative tasks for Vigilant’s pulp and paper department, including support for the American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) Employee Relations Program. She schedules arbitrations and maintains an online arbitration database for Vigilant pulp and paper members, and she coordinates meetings and maintains an online labor database for AF&PA members. It takes patience and persistence to gather the necessary information and encapsulate it succinctly for users of these online databases.
Rebecca also assists our HR coordinator with scheduling interviews, organizing files, and other administrative tasks. In addition, Rebecca is part of our affirmative action team, preparing affirmative action plans (AAPs) for some of our members with federal contracts. She reviews their workforce data, puts together written AAPs, sends updates, and answers questions. Away from work, she enjoys camping, hiking, and baking bread. She loves animals (except for snakes!).
